Brooke is an award-winning science journalist, a documentary film producer, and a former Team USA Freestyle Kayaker.

 

She has a bachelor's degree in geoscience and a master's in science journalism. She is a cofounder of the production company, Ripple Skip Collective, and was a producer, cinematographer, and expedition team member for The Grand Salmon feature documentary film about the declining salmon populations of the Snake River Basin. Brooke's recent reporting and photojournalism for The Associated Press has been featured on CNN, PBS, The Today Show, the LA Times, the Seattle Times, The Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, and USA Today.
